Dell’s terms and conditions are relatively reasonable and standard for the customer, and can be found here. Dell offer a huge amount of support for their customers. They have 24 hour helplines, online instant messaging chats with support specialists, and discussion forums. Dell have always excelled in outshining their opponents with their goods and after sales support.

The registration process for Dell is easy and straightforward. The customer simply gives their usual information (i.e. Name, Address etc.) and they can then use it to create a computer, and save it to purchase or edit at a later date. This can also remember a persons credit card data for later use, and to enable security they will always ask for the persons 3 digit security code on their card before authorising payment. The purchasing section of their site is also encrypted and secured to give their customers extra security.

Cookies are small files which are saved from a website on a persons computer. Then enable a specific persons details and preferences to be re-loaded when they reopen a web page on their main computer. On Dell’s website, they are used to remember recently viewed items
